Broadway's fall 2026 season is star-heavy
Broadway's fall 2026 lineup mixes revivals, transfers and new musicals, and the casting is the story. According to amNewYork, Billy Crystal, Tom Hiddleston, Hayley Atwell, Rosamund Pike and Julia Louis-Dreyfus are among the names heading to the stage, with 15 shows in the season. For travelers, that means demand will concentrate around the biggest names. Book through the show's official ticketing page. If you have one Broadway night, pick it before you lock your flights.
The Village Trip returns to Lower Manhattan
The Village Trip runs from Sept 25 to Oct 4, according to amNewYork. This is the 8th edition, and it focuses on the music, history and activism that came out of Lower Manhattan. Most travelers already pass through the area for Washington Square ParkWashington Square ParkGreenwich Village's marble-arched square, the city's stage for pianists, chess hustlers, NYU life and protest. and the West VillageGreenwich VillageThe bohemian heart of Manhattan, crooked tree-lined streets that hosted the folk revival, Stonewall and a century of counterculture.. Treat the festival as a half-day add-on. Check the official program before you go, since events are spread across venues and some may need tickets or reservations.
How to combine both
If your trip overlaps Sept 25-Oct 4, book Broadway first. Then build a downtown day around the Village Trip program. The two are easy to pair because both sit in Manhattan, but do not stack them back to back. Leave a buffer between an afternoon festival event and an evening curtain. Check each show's official site for performance times before you commit. Fall 2026 has enough on stage that you can skip the shows you do not care about and still fill a week.
